In a night of glamour, cultural pride, and fierce competition, Noura Raissa was crowned Miss Cameroon 2024.The grand finale, held at the Yaoundé Conference Center, attracted a wide audience both in-person and via live broadcasts, highlighting the event’s national significance.
Noura Raissa, a 23-year-old law student from Yaoundé, emerged victorious among 20 finalists representing various regions of Cameroon. Her poise, intelligence, and dedication to social causes distinguished her throughout the competition. The event featured multiple segments, including traditional attire, evening gowns, and a talent showcase, where Noura captivated the judges and audience with her eloquent speech on women’s empowerment and a graceful dance performance.
In her acceptance speech, Noura expressed deep gratitude and shared her vision for her reign. “This crown is not just for me but for every young girl in Cameroon who dreams big. I will use this platform to advocate for education, gender equality, and the preservation of our cultural heritage,” she said.
The evening was a star-studded affair, with performances from top Cameroonian artists and a special tribute to previous Miss Cameroon winners.
