The Secretary General of Cameroon’s National Assembly has issued a press release, alerting citizens about a recent wave of impersonation scams in which unidentified individuals are falsely claiming to be him in order to extort money from people.

In response, the Secretary General strongly dissociates himself from these fraudulent activities and urges individuals to exercise caution and remain vigilant, as he has no involvement in any financial transactions or personal solicitations.

Note that André Noël Essian, was appointed Secretary General by the present for the National Assembly himself, Cavayé Yéguié Djibril, on the 24th of November, in Yaoundé.

In order not to fall victim to these scams, it is adviced individuals verify the identity of any person claiming to be him by cross-checking with official government platforms.
That not witstanding, cameroonians are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities, as it is important for collective efforts to be put, in combating fraudulent activities and ensuring the safety and security of the people.
