The University of Douala this November 13th inaugurated the Russian Linguistic center, in the presence of Cameroonian and Russian officials in the educational sector.
The new Language learning center is aimed at fostering education and international relations between both countries.
As a result of this international cooperation between president Paul Biya’s Cameroon and Vladimir Putin’s Russia, learning and speaking Russian has now been made easy for Cameroonians who wish to.
This was made possible after Vladimir Putin gave the go-ahead. It is worth mentioning, the inauguration ceremony saw the approval of many projects that come within the framework of boosting university studies in Cameroon, be it in the scientific or artistic domains.
Speaking at the inauguration ground Isabella BORISOVA, Director of the Center For Cooperation, stressed on the fact that they have high expectations and hope this international cooperation that aims to empower Cameroonian students will be fruitful in the long run.
It should be noted, the cooperation which masterminded the construction of the center eventually made it to be equipped with high-tech learning equipment for the students.
