CINEMATIC COLLABO : NOLLYWOOD ACTOR HOSTS CAMEROON MOVIE STAKEHOLDERS

Nigerian Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo recently welcomed Brenda Shey Elung, the board chair of the Cameroon Film Industry, and Cameroonian International bilingual MC and actor, Christian Steve Bernard Fonkam. He received them at his residence in Nigeria.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Cameroonian movie stakeholders to experience Nigerian hospitality, enjoying a variety of local delicacies. More importantly, the gathering served as a platform for discussing enhanced collaboration and unity between the Nigerian and Cameroonian film industries.

Note, Alexx Ekubo has been a prominent advocate for Cameroonian cinema, a fact that has not gone unnoticed. He was particularly commended for his support during his participation in the International Film Festival, where he actively promoted Cameroonian films.

The aim of the gathering is considered to be a move forward to building a One Africa, as Steve Fonkam said in a comment, on social media. “it was a unique moment of communion between brothers & sisters. Between passionate and talented Africans who believe in a ONE AFRICA” He wrote.

It is worth recalling, the visit by Brenda Shey Elung and Steve Fonkam is considered by many, to be, a step forward in fostering a closer relationship between the two cinematic communities, paving the way for more joint projects and cultural exchanges in the future.
