In a thrilling encounter on Thursday December 7th, the Senior Women’s Handball team of Cameroon faced off against one of the hosts of the championship, Sweden. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure a victory, falling to a devastating 37 to 13 defeat in the main round of the game.
Despite this setback, Cameroon had shown great resilience throughout the tournament. They managed to sail out of Group B after a hard-fought victory against Paraguay in their last group game.
Despite recording defeats in their first two group outings against Hungary and Montenegro, the team displayed determination and fighting spirit.
The clash against Sweden proved to be a challenging test for the Cameroonian team. The Swedish team, backed by their home crowd, demonstrated their superior skills and dominated the game from start to finish.
Cameroon struggled to keep up with the pace and intensity of their opponents, resulting in a significant deficit on the scoreboard.
