In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and solidarity, the First Lady Mrs. Chantal Biya has brought smiles to the faces of 31 children affected by the devastating Mbankolo landslide.
The first lady did so at the 30th edition of the Circle of Friends of Cameroon General Assembly meeting in Yaoundé, Mrs. Biya personally handed out gifts to young survivors aged between 3 and 13.
The Mbankolo landslide, which occurred on the 8th of October 2023, left many families displaced and struggling to recover. However, the First Lady’s generous act of kindness has undoubtedly provided a glimmer of hope and happiness to these brave children.
According to sources, her dedication to uplifting the lives of Cameroonians is truly inspiring. Her commitment to the well-being of the nation’s youth is evident in her tireless efforts to support those affected by unfortunate events such as the Mbankolo landslide.
