The FIFA Ranking for the month of October has been released, revealing significant changes for African teams.

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions have dropped to the 43rd position globally but maintain their 7th place on the continent. Despite these setbacks, the coaching staff remains optimistic, although some criticize the works of the head coach.

Algeria is one of the success stories in the rankings, moving up from the 34th to the 33rd position globally after their victories against Cape Verde and a draw against Egypt. They are closing in on the top 3 in Africa, with a narrow gap with Tunisia.

On the other hand, Ivory Coast experienced a significant drop, falling from the 50th to the 52nd position globally. The Elephants paid the price for their two home draws against Morocco and South Africa. They will need to regroup before the next Africa Cup of Nations.

Senegal and Morocco maintain their positions in the ranking. Senegal is ranked 20th globally and second in Africa, while Morocco remains 13th globally and first in Africa. Both teams continue to shine on the international stage.
