0

Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionnesses are set to face the Crested Cranes of Uganda, on October 26th, for the first-leg of the second round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers.

Presently in Uganda, the ladies of head coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck, will be hoping to bounce back after failing to qualify for the Morocco Female Africa Cup of Nations.

Having been absent from the international tournament for over a decade, Cameroon’s hopes are high as they look forward to securing a place for the first time since the London 2012 edition.

On the other hand, Uganda will be looking forward to making history, by grabbing her very first qualification ticket, for the Olympic Games.

Both teams will get down to business at the Fufa Technical Centre stadium, in Njeru (Jinja), Uganda at 2pm and later on meet again on October 31st, but in Douala – Cameroon, for the second leg.

Nchoute Njoya Ajara and her team mates are expected to seize the opportunity and restore their pride as the Lionnesses that they are, after they had their dreams and aspirations for the AWCON cut shot some weeks back.
